About The Work
"My work is about machines, small vehicles born out of a youthful fascination with soap box derby cars, and my present day fixation upon the potential of discarded materials. The process of making art for me often involves traveling back and forth from the present to what fascinated me during my youth. The landscape paintings represent the imaginary spaces through which such machines would pass."
