Katrin Asbury and Shawn Greene
Katrin Asbury and Shawn Greene met when they were both working toward their MFAs at Cranbrook Academy of Art. They moved to New York together in 1998 where they showed work both as collaborators and individual artists. They moved to the Midwest in 2003 when Katrin began teaching at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, and Shawn worked as a carpenter in Hyde Park. They continue to make sculptures and drawings inspired by plants and animals and the efforts people make to preserve them.
